Floral Design & Watercolour Workshop

The first part of the class will be spent with our floral designer Maria, who will guide you on the fundamental principles of contemporary floral design in order to create a gorgeous spring arrangement. Participants will have the opportunity to design a unique arrangement from the most stunning selection of spring blooms in a beautiful keepsake vase, which you will get to take home or gift to your mom for mother’s day (over $50 value). The second half will be spent learning how to paint loose watercolor florals with the guidance and help from Amy, of Wild Canary Studio. Participants will have the chance to learn basic watercolor tools, techniques and how to paint beautiful blooms. You will leave with a greeting card and final floral piece you painted, based on the arrangement you created with Maria. Eat, drink, create and paint! All skill levels welcome and all supplies will be provided... so just bring your fine self and a willingness to let go, have fun and create!

An art show that cultivates mementos from the past to create works of art in the present. Every piece has been researched and sourced with elements coming from all over the world to make one work of art. Briony Douglas, a Toronto based artist, has been catching eyes for the past few years now, as she continues to rise on a world spectrum. Her unique style of visual art stands out from the rest of the crowed by blending elements of surrealism and pop culture, while also taking cues from a bygone era.
