Monday Girl’s Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Since our founding as women of colour, intersectionality has been a core pillar of our mission in building a space and community where women can learn, connect, and support one another.

As an organization who’s vision is to change the way women build their networks and experience networking, building a diverse and inclusive community that serves multiple and intersecting identities.

We understand women and individuals across the gender spectrum face unique barriers when it comes to accessing networking opportunities. These barriers are further compounded by factors such as race, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, or disability. We also acknolwedge that when women don’t see themselves represented through mentors, leaders, and networking opportunities, this impact’s women’s confidence in seeing themselves in roles and navigating towards them (OECD, 2020).

We are proud to share that 50% of our members identify as women of colour and we are committed to continuing to increase these numbers, ensuring we are recruiting members, mentors, and leaders from marginalized communities.

We commit to actively cultivating an inclusive environment in which all members who identify as a woman, transgender, nonbinary and gender nonconforming can feel safe, heard, and supported.
