The Monday Girl Scholarship Fund

The Monday Girl Scholarship Fund supports and connects next-generation women leaders to a diverse network of industry leaders, mentors, and a supportive community. The fund aims to serve women from traditionally underserved and underrepresented groups, including the BIPOC communities, LGBTQIA+ communities, and people with disabilities.

We are proud to support five deserving women+ identifying recipients with a Scholarship for a free one-year Monday Girl Membership which provides recipients with access to career resources, programming, and mentorship opportunities.

FAQs

  • The Monday Girl Scholarship program is designed for next-generation women leaders and professionals from traditionally underserved and underrepresented groups, including the BIPOC communities, LGBTQIA+ communities, and people with disabilities. If you are currently experiencing financial difficulty, are unemployed or were recently laid off, you may qualify for this Scholarship as well.

    Entrants must:

    (i) Be the age of twenty one (21) or older

    (ii) Currently reside in the US or Canada

    (iii) Submit a written response to the scholarship application

    (iv) Qualify for our membership criteria as listed on our membership criteria page here: https://www.mondaygirl.ca/membership-criteria

  • Monday Girl is an exclusive community for next-generation women leaders who are ambitious, driven, and forward-thinking women making a significant impact in their respective fields. This includes professionals, entrepreneurs, and executives who are dedicated to empowering one another and cultivating a supportive network of like-minded peers.

    Scholarship applications will be reviewed by a panel of Monday Girl founders, mentors, and colleagues. Applications will be assessed based on the following criteria:

    • Quality and Thoughtfulness of Application: 65%

    • Initiative, Personal Mission, and Values: 30%

    • Monday Girl Community Engagement: 5%

    Decisions on whom to award scholarships to are subjective and final. No purchase is necessary to receive a scholarship.

  • The deadline will be announced officially on our social media and newsletter in June 2024. Applications submitted by any other method or past the due date will not be considered.

  • Recipients will be notified by email on April 24, 2024.

    Please note that we will only contact those that are selected to receive the scholarship.

  • Current Monday Girl members may apply and must communicate so in their application (there is a check box).

    Recipients selected that are currently members already will receive their next year complimentary through the Scholarship fund.

  • The Monday Scholarship was open previously on an annual basis. We now open the Scholarship fund on a quarterly basis coinciding with our quarterly membership cohorts.
